Help AG Overview
Help AG is looking for a talented and experienced Solution Architect who will play a key role in discovering opportunities and positioning Help AG’s security solutions to customers and prospects. The Solution Architect will be responsible for creating technical content for proposals and RFP responses, as well as ensuring the success of Proof of Concepts. This role is crucial for maintaining customer success from both a technology architecture and solutions perspective, aligning with the implementation team, and identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities. The position is strongly sales-focused, contributing to Help AG’s growth in the market.
Responsibilities
- Assist Business Development Managers in customer meetings, focusing on positioning technical solutions and services while understanding the customer's environment and managing their expectations.
- Empower Business Development Managers in key areas of expertise and assist with strategic account planning from a technology standpoint.
- Ensure the technical success of implementations by interacting with the project team.
- Support the sales process by leveraging Help AG’s defined solutions and managing customer expectations toward successful sales.
- Involve vendor presales and manage any external technical interaction with customers.
- Create high-end technical content for proposals, including project plans, technical compliance, and other RFP requirements.
- Define the scope of work (SOW) of proposed solutions and coordinate any technical third-party involvement in the presales/proposal process.
- Arrange and manage Proof of Concept (POC) processes with customers, including defining success criteria, technical requirements, and presentation of results.
- Collaborate with internal team leaders to deliver successful POCs and close sales opportunities from a technical standpoint.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and relevant security certifications.
- Strong technical and architectural understanding of key technologies from vendors such as Palo Alto Networks, F5 Networks, Splunk, Fortinet, and Ixia.
- Knowledge of PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS solutions.
- Excellent understanding of cyber and information security challenges and strategies.
- Prior experience in positioning managed security services and knowledge of cloud IT and security technologies.
- Experience in pre-sales is desirable but not mandatory.
- Understanding of OT cybersecurity technologies and challenges.
- Strong consulting skills with a solid business acumen and the ability to explain complex technical concepts simply.
- Excellent report and technical documentation writing skills, alongside strong presentation skills.
- Flexible work approach, strong teamwork orientation, customer-centric focus, and independence in work.
- Strong verbal and written command of English.
