About The Opportunity:
We are looking for a highly talented Senior Software Engineer (iOS or Android) to join the team in Riyadh. Key Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of the latest software development methodologies to provide best-in-class software solutions.
- Analyze product requirements to understand engineering needs, evaluate technical feasibility, estimate efforts, and collaborate with the Product Team.
- Assist in building and managing programming components to translate requirements into working software.
- Document all coding steps for comprehensibility and future modifications.
- Write unit, integration, and UI/Snapshot tests.
- Investigate and resolve issues and bugs.
- Assist in code reviews and deliver feedback.
- Perform functional and module testing to ensure functionality.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on product development, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Assist in user trials and acceptance testing.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in design patterns and algorithms, ideally using Kotlin or Swift as a primary language (Java is acceptable).
- Experience with Flutter is preferred.
- Strong skills in native Android development.
- Hands-on experience in writing high-quality, testable code, and proficiency with modern mobile architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of the mobile engineering lifecycle and experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM or Kanban).
- Proven track record of impacting the development of complex systems.
- Familiarity with modern Android Development approaches, including ViewModel, LiveData, Paging, Navigation, SafeArgs, Retrofit2, RxJava2, Dagger2.
- Understanding of Modular App Architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to write new modules with maintainable architecture.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of Firebase, Google Maps API, Fastlane scripting, and Checkout.com SDK.
