About the Job
As a Delivery Consultant at IBM, you will work closely with clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with clients’ goals. You will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills in problem-solving and communication. As a member of IBM Technology Expert Labs, you’ll collaborate with clients to optimize solutions addressing real business challenges. A 'day-in-the-life' of this role may include:
- Understanding clients' main challenges and developing actionable solutions across design, development, integration, implementation, migration, and product support phases.
- Creating and executing agile plans, managing the installation and provisioning of assets, testing, and migration to production.
- Conducting and participating in technical solution workshops.
- Developing successful relationships with all stakeholders from engineers to CxOs, facilitating healthy resolutions in challenging debates.
- Demonstrating self-motivation and curiosity to navigate data and people to find answers and present solutions.
- Collaborating effectively across the client, partner, and IBM teams.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a delivery consultant, pre-sales, enterprise architect, or in equivalent roles.
- 1-2 years of experience consulting on IBM products like IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, API Connect, DataPower, MQ, and App Connect Enterprise (ACE).
- Basic experience with OpenShift, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Linux.
- Proven track record in technical client management, both remote and onsite.
- Ability to handle difficult customer situations effectively and demonstrate successful resolutions.
- Experience in executing customer success plans to drive post-deployment adoption and guide clients through migration projects.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Additional consulting skills in Cloud Pak for Integration and RedHat OpenShift Container Platform would be advantageous.
