In this exciting role as the KSA SOC Manager, you will be responsible for the continued success and day-to-day operations of IBM Managed Security Services' KSA Security Operations Center. You will lead, drive, and ensure client delivery for SOC services, as well as sustain the SOC functions in the larger Managed Security Services organization.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of a 24x7x365 Security Operations Center, providing technical oversight.
  • Drive the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly metrics for statistical threats and KPIs.
  • Mentor SOC leads and analysts, facilitating knowledge transfer to other teams.
  • Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are created and adhered to by the team.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and metrics for SOC operations, presenting them to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and improve operational objectives to mitigate threats.
  • Manage incident identification, assessment, reporting, communication, and mitigation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Proven experience in managing a Security Operations Center, with a focus on team management, shift/roster management, and capacity planning.
  • Strong understanding and experience with SIEM, EDR, SOAR, XDR, and Threat Intelligence tools and concepts.
  • Previous experience driving projects and personnel as a manager or Team Lead is essential.
  • Ability to develop processes and assure compliance for SOC operations.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Familiarity with local KSA regulations and mandates from NCA, CITC, and SAMA, including the NCA MSOC National Policy & Regulatory Framework.
  • Possession of CISSP or other industry-recognized security certifications (e.g., SANS GSOC, GMON, GSOM, GCIH).
  • Experience in a Global/Regional Managed Security Services environment is a plus.
