Key Responsibilities:

DevOps Architecture and Strategy:
- Design and implement the overall DevOps architecture for software-defined radio (SDR) platforms.
- Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for DevOps practices and tooling.
- Establish best practices for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Architect scalable and secure infrastructure for SDR development and testing environments.

CI/CD Pipeline Development:
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for SDR software components.
- Implement automated testing frameworks for software and firmware validation.
- Develop deployment strategies to ensure minimal downtime and maximum reliability.

Infrastructure Management:
- Design and implement infrastructure as code for consistent environment provisioning.
- Manage containerization and orchestration platforms for microservices architecture.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and security.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.

Security Implementation:
- Integrate security practices throughout the development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Implement secure coding practices and automated security scanning.

Monitoring and Observability:
- Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions for SDR systems and infrastructure.
- Establish metrics and KPIs for measuring system reliability and performance.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor DevOps engineers and infrastructure teams.
- Collaborate with software development, hardware engineering, and QA teams.

Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.

Documentation and Knowledge Management:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and processes.

Research and Innovation:
- Research and evaluate new tools and technologies for potential adoption.

Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Education and Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in a related field focusing on wireless communications, embedded systems, or cybersecurity.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or similar roles.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in wireless communication.
