Market leaders across sectors, whether public or private, are engaged in a continuous evaluation of their investment in people, technology, and assets to help ensure the best outcomes aligned to their objectives.
  • Role Overview: In this pivotal role, you will lead and shape cybersecurity initiatives, providing strategic guidance to clients and mentoring junior consultants. Your extensive experience in cybersecurity governance, risk assessment, frameworks (such as NIST, NIA, QCSF, ISO), strategy development, incident management, and data protection will be paramount as you work with diverse clients across industries.
  • Primary Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
    • Applying advanced knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, NIA, QCSF, ISO) to enhance security measures.
    • Leading Cyber Security governance audit and assessments.
    • Conducting in-depth cybersecurity risk assessments and providing strategic recommendations.
    • Developing and implementing robust cybersecurity strategies tailored to client needs.
    • Overseeing cybersecurity maturity assessments and guiding improvement initiatives.
    • Mentoring junior consultants and providing leadership in Information Security Management System (ISMS) implementation.
    • Managing and optimizing incident management processes.
    • Providing expert guidance on data protection and privacy regulations.
    • Leading and collaborating on complex cybersecurity projects.
    • Develops external network and continues to develop knowledge of industry, market trends, competitor activity, and products/services.
    • Contributes to the development of case studies, proposals, deliverables, or other valuable engagement knowledge.
    • Ensures such knowledge is recorded appropriately to enable access and use by others within the firm.
    • Executes deliverables to a level that meets member firm’s Quality standards within a commercial context.
    • Starts to establish networks with clients and across relevant professional bodies and associations and will participate in internal and external professional activities to develop this network.
    • Shares knowledge with other KPMG colleagues/teams and contributes to the development of knowledge resources.
  • Qualification & Experience:
    • 4 - 9 years of relevant experience in management consulting and digital technologies.
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Proven expertise in cybersecurity governance and risk assessment.
    • Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as (NIST, NIA, QCSF, ISO).
    • Demonstrated success in cybersecurity strategy development and implementation.
    • Proficiency in conducting cybersecurity maturity assessments.
    • Extensive experience in ISMS implementation.
    • Strong leadership in incident management.
    • In-depth knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations.
