We seek a Senior Digital Engineering and BIM Manager to join our team and support a new project in the events industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project focuses on building cutting-edge venues to host world-class events across various sectors, including culture, entertainment, tourism, and sports. This includes developing 35 unique venues such as indoor arenas, art galleries, theatres, conference centers, horse-racing tracks, and motor racing tracks to ensure the successful delivery of a national events calendar.

As a Senior Digital Engineering and BIM Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients and project teams by developing and maintaining information requirements and standards, managing processes within a common data environment, and leading the information management function for the project team. You will uphold Mace's values of safety first, ensuring exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for Mace's value of safety first and maintain exceptional safety and project compliance standards.
  • Provide strategic direction in managing the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas.
  • Prepare contract documents and manage associated costs related to design changes and construction activities.
  • Support project teams throughout the project lifecycle, communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct interviews to assess candidates for BIM roles and develop BIM execution plans (BEP) and the client’s digital handover strategy.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 19650 and applicable standards, developing information requirements and standards as specified.
  • Manage object library development and oversee the production and assurance of the Information Model.
  • Stay updated on Autodesk developments and assess new technology solutions for improving the BIM process.
  • Provide training across various BIM-related topics and run knowledge-sharing sessions for project teams.
  • Collaborate with Mace PM and design teams to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement plans, managing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive working environment while contributing to the proactive management of carbon emissions and reductions.

Qualifications

  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant experience with high-valued projects/programmes in a project management consultancy.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
