Position

About
Provides technology guidance to clients and orchestrates the interaction between clients and Microsoft resources to drive new opportunities, demand generation, digital transformation, and the mapping of industry/business scenarios to Microsoft solutions. Acts as the Technology Mentor for the customer or "go-to" person in established, long-term relationships with technical and/or business decision-makers at the Chief X Officer (CxO) level. Drives conversations with clients to present the strategic value of Microsoft solutions and acts as a trusted technology advisor both internally and externally. Gathers insights about client business and leverages existing architecture approaches to achieve Microsoft’s agreed commitments to clients. Leverages executive sponsorship and global resources to lead overall strategy development.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesizes business and industry insights to conduct forecasting and develop recommendations for managing accounts.
  • Provides Account thought leadership, sharing best practices internally and coaching subsidiary resources.
  • Creates connections and feedback loops with Product and Engineering teams, leveraging security thought leadership.
  • Leads analysis of overall customer needs and partners with global executives to drive execution on strategic accounts.
  • Develops mid and long-term technology and business roadmaps based on a deep understanding of business priorities.
  • Creates, develops, and drives opportunities based on industry best practices.
  • Acts as the customer's Technology Mentor to articulate how complex Microsoft technology will meet future business needs.
  • Helps customer technical specialists build sales messages for Microsoft offerings.
  • Engages and influences technical resources toward customer business transformation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND 6+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years in relevant technical or consulting roles, with 6+ years of experience in digital transformation.
  • Proven experience in driving customer business outcomes and leveraging technology for business success.
