In the Customer Success team at Microsoft, we are seeking a passionate Cloud Solution Architect - Azure Infrastructure to empower our customers to achieve their business outcomes through technology. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to help customers get the most value from their investments in Microsoft technology. Your efforts will enable them to architect and deploy world-class cloud infrastructure solutions in Azure, ensuring they are prepared for AI innovation by applying scalable best practices through the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and the Well-Architected Framework (WAF).
You will develop relationships with key customer IT decision makers and serve as the Voice of the Customer, providing feedback and insights that influence product development. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations and drive business results by ensuring customers understand the Azure services needed to support AI solutions at scale.
As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will conduct Architectural Design Sessions, help build customer resiliency in critical areas, and guide customers through project go-lives. You will need to resolve issues, lead technical conversations, and work continuously to adapt your skills to meet customer and team demands.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with key customer IT decision makers to drive cloud adoption and establish them as cloud advocates.
- Provide feedback to Microsoft teams to enable continuous improvement in services and solutions.
- Manage your committed pipeline, ensuring clarity and alignment with customer expectations.
- Collaborate with technical decision makers on implementing Microsoft’s Azure Infrastructure services, ensuring value from their investments.
- Run Architectural Design Sessions to align solutions with customer business and technical goals using CAF.
- Address and resolve issues that block the go-live of customer success projects, leveraging Azure technical knowledge.
- Demonstrate a self-learner mindset through continuous skill alignment and engagement in relevant communities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Fluency in English.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND at least 5 years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies and IT consulting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading technical projects and managing various stakeholder relationships.
- Strong knowledge in Data Center Migration, PaaS, Networking, identity management, and Infrastructure as Code (IaaC).
- Expertise in creating cloud adoption frameworks that facilitate successful deployments.
- Technical certifications in Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with Azure technologies and services.
