About
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) for Data Security to drive our customer's data security transformation. This is a customer-facing role, owning the data security-focused technical relationship and strategy between the customer and Microsoft through the whole adoption lifecycle, including planning, adoption, deployment, and optimization. Microsoft Data Security Cloud Solution Architects are trusted advisors for customers attempting to secure their entire data estates against internal and external data risk. Microsoft Purview’s integrated Data Security services support customers holistically secure data:
- Protect Sensitive Data using data classification, sensitivity labeling, and encryption policies.
- Manage Insider Risks using machine learning detection controls and indicators, adaptive protection to dynamically enforce controls and advanced privacy controls
- Prevent Data Loss using built-in exfiltration policies for Microsoft 365 apps, services, and endpoints.

Responsibilities
- Thought Leadership - Land an end-to-end value prop for Microsoft Data Security. Be a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Global Security teams at Microsoft, Engineering, and Product teams to remove blockers and influence the solution roadmap.
- Trusted Advisor - Empower customers in their Microsoft Data Security adoption journey, being hands-on with them to envision and define a Secure strategy, Architecture, and implementation of necessary security controls aligned with M365 E5 and Microsoft Azure Data Security workloads while ensuring operational health.
- Understand Customer/Partner Technical Environment - Accelerate Business Value of overall Data Security adoption by improving security posture and ensuring that the solution exhibits "Secure by Design" framework, such as high-performance levels, security, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
- Architecture Design and Deployment - Run Architectural Design Session to build a plan for implementing the solution — governing design in line with customer business goals and their technical environment. Outcome is consensus on solution design and next steps toward production
- Practice Development - Collaborate and orchestrate with other Cloud Solution Architects and MS stakeholders including FastTrack, partner, and Microsoft Consulting in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions with the Microsoft Data Security platform.
