About the Job
In this role, you will gather customer and partner insights, including feedback around technical preferences, environments, and business needs. You will leverage these insights to map solutions that align with customer and partner business outcomes. The position emphasizes building impactful relationships with internal teams and customer/partner technical specialists during the preparation and ramp-up stages, thereby contributing to customer satisfaction and a positive experience.

You will independently identify issues and advise customers/partners on operating and optimizing performance consistent with Microsoft best practices. A solid understanding of competitor architecture solutions is necessary to highlight Microsoft's strengths and demonstrate its value to customers and partners. You will also support research projects and surveys to evaluate potential intellectual property (IP) needs or process alterations. Sharing ideas, insights, and technical knowledge with virtual team members using a strong understanding of specific Microsoft architectures will be a key aspect of your role.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Centricity:

    • Actively listen and respectfully challenge customers/partners when necessary, contributing to customer satisfaction and experience.
    • Gather insights and leverage them to align solutions with business outcomes, promoting customer success.
    • Develop strong relationships with internal teams and customer/partner technical specialists.
  • Technical Leadership:

    • Support research projects, IP reuse identification, and communicate gaps to relevant parties.
    • Engage in opportunities for learning new technologies, training, and sharing insights within the technical community.
  • Business Impact:

    • Work with customers to identify issues, resolve blockers, and enhance requirement shaping.
    • Leverage comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft and competitor products to identify growth opportunities and support technical solution design and implementation.

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND at least 2 years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in the above fields AND 5+ years of relevant experience.
    • Technical Certifications in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google).
    • Experience in customer-facing roles for a minimum of 2 years.
