In this internship, you will play a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services. Responsibilities:
As a successful Critical Environment Technician Intern, your day-to-day work will include:
- Performing assigned basic tasks with varying levels of supervision.
- Learning how to operate all systems and equipment safely.
- Monitoring and inspecting critical environment-related facility equipment.
- Tracking equipment assets and completing work order requests.
- Assisting in providing emergency monitoring and response to abnormal conditions.
- Participating in troubleshooting complex systems with guidance from senior colleagues.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Currently studying at a Technical Preparatory Year or at a technical college.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical or mechanical engineering diploma level 2.
- Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights.
- Proficient in written and oral English communication.
- Flexibility to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and/or holidays.
