As an experienced deal/pursuit people manager, this role will give you the opportunity to accelerate your career growth, lead a high-performing team, and own a portfolio of strategic, complex pursuits that leverage cutting-edge solutions for customers that grow consumption. You will be responsible for taking sales leads through to contract with clients, setting up our clients for success on the Microsoft platform.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive enterprise technology sales, consulting, delivery management experience, or relevant experience
- OR bachelor's degree in business, Management, Technology, or related field with enterprise technology sales, consulting, delivery management experience, or relevant experience
- OR master's degree in business, Management, Technology, or related field with enterprise technology sales, consulting, delivery management experience, or relevant experience
- Track record of people management experience
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Pre-sales or bid management experience
Responsibilities
- People management – leading an international team of 10 to 15 pursuit Managers
- Pursuit leadership – accountable for ensuring pursuit teams lead highly skilled teams with a broad variety of expertise for deal shaping on strategic qualified pursuits
- Deal quality – owning a portfolio of pursuits, driving consistency and reuse across artifacts, balancing customer needs and expectations against Microsoft business rules and goals, and mitigating risks using best practices
- Pursuit execution – empowering pursuit teams to execute pursuits using standard processes, including smooth sales to delivery handover, and driving IP reuse and creation leveraging industry trends and future growth demand
- Portfolio management – maintaining portfolio health to support decision-making, prioritization, stakeholders' engagement, and removal of blockers
- Business growth and business targets – driving a team of Pursuit Leads (PLs) to meet business targets and core priorities around consumption and the pursuit portfolio
