In this role, you will partner with both engineers from our team and our customers to apply your skills, perspectives, and creativity to address complex challenges.
We are looking for a Data Scientist with extensive experience in data management and proficiency in statistical techniques to analyze and derive insights from data. You will work alongside high-impact engineers and strategic customers to find innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include communicating trends and insights to stakeholders and collaborating with various teams, including product and program management, to deploy effective business solutions.

Responsibilities
- Business Understanding and Impact: Lead data science projects aligned with business needs and value delivery.
- Data Preparation and Understanding: Oversee data acquisition and understanding efforts for engineering projects using diverse tools and methodologies.
- Modeling and Statistical Analysis: Develop and implement ML frameworks and best practices for scalable and ethical solutions.
- Evaluation: Review data analysis and modeling techniques, ensuring they align with project outcomes and deciding on subsequent steps (e.g., deployment, further iterations).
- Industry and Research Knowledge/Opportunity Identification: Provide expert feedback and knowledge sharing to drive improvement in data science practices.
- Coding and Debugging: Write and debug code for complex projects and lead the development of solutions.
- Business Management: Manage ML and data science partnerships and drive improvements in intellectual property.
- Customer/Partner Orientation: Deliver insights and solutions tailored to the business, product, data, and customer perspectives.
Qualifications
- Required: A Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field, plus relevant data science experience.
- Experience managing structured and unstructured data using statistical techniques.
- Demonstrated capability to collaborate in diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Over 5 years of customer-facing, project-delivery experience in professional services or consulting.
