About
With the continuous progression in digital transformation within the financial services market, driven by AI and cloud technologies, the FSI Team is keen to attract the right talent to drive our mission with key banking clients. We are hiring for a Senior Account Manager role, requiring deep industry knowledge and seasoned account management experience with UAE banks. This role focuses on driving strategic partnerships with clients to support their transformation journeys and contribute impactful results.

Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on partnering with customers to achieve strategic goals, providing a differentiated customer experience, maximizing customer spend, and achieving targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption). As a Senior Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to drive transformation in partnership with our most strategic customers, focusing on AI, Copilot, and Security to achieve both Microsoft and customer business outcomes.

With a proven history of driving growth in market share, achieving sales targets, customer obsession, and partner collaboration, you will leverage your extensive customer network and sales experience to execute against your customers’ account plans. This role is Microsoft onsite only.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in the Financial Services industry with UAE leading banks, driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; a Master's Degree in Business Administration is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Customer Advocate: Develop and oversee the execution of account plans to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer outcomes are met. Engage with internal and external stakeholders on business planning to promote mutually beneficial customer digital transformation strategies.
  • Industry Relevant Trusted Seller: Develop a strong understanding of the customer’s business and industry priorities to drive new business opportunities. Advocate on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring their requests and needs are addressed.
  • Deliver Sales Excellence: Lead and orchestrate extended virtual teams to consistently achieve growth in revenue and market share.
  • Industry Knowledge: Build and maintain a strong knowledge of customers’ industries, associated business strategies, and key industry partners and solutions. Gain deeper insights through direct engagement in customers’ business and operations.
