We are seeking a meticulous and expert Senior Engineer - Site Reliability to enhance Presight's delivery model, enabling product and technology teams to deliver high-quality products, improve platform infrastructure, and strengthen the reliability of our solutions. In this role, you will define and establish the delivery model for cutting-edge, next-gen analytics solutions and services at Presight.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive scope definition, specification, and architecture for all services in the CI/CD pipeline.
- Manage the infrastructure required to run solutions deployed on public or private cloud (air-gapped).
- Deploy application updates and ensure the health of the environment by monitoring technical and business metrics.
- Set up alerts for issues, act proactively to prevent incidents, and ensure rapid response to emergencies.
- Enable the engineering team to execute the roadmap and address any roadblocks.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, conduct proof-of-concepts, and contribute to the knowledge base.
- Comply with QHSE policies, Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, and Governance procedures.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters.
- 5+ years in configuring/tuning observability platforms (preferably Prometheus; relevant platforms include Datadog, Splunk, NewRelic, or CloudWatch).
- Strong Linux knowledge and understanding of message queues (preferably RabbitMQ; alternatives include ActiveMQ, Kafka, SNS, or SQS).
- Experience with Elasticsearch (ELK stack) and a good understanding of network concepts.
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably Python).
