About the Job
As a Senior Sales Specialist - Data & AI, you will play a crucial role within our enterprise sales organization, working closely with our most important customers in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will lead a virtual team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to advance the sales process and achieve/exceed quarterly Data & AI revenue and usage targets in your assigned accounts.

You will act as a trusted advisor and an Analytics, Data & AI subject-matter expert with expertise in Data Modernization, Analytics, and AI. Your mission will be to help customers leverage data to achieve their business priorities and guide them through Analytics-led Azure Data transformation. You will evaluate customer applications and business requirements, recommend tailored solutions, and demonstrate these solutions to secure technical decisions in your favor.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field AND 8+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
  • 10+ years experience in a customer-facing role
  • 10+ years experience leading technical projects
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google)
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure Data & AI products
  • Expertise in two or more data estate workloads such as Azure Fabric, Azure Databricks, CosmosDB, and more

Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution

    • Engage with customers to discuss industry-specific solutions and collaborate with internal teams to drive new opportunities.
    • Identify customer business and technology readiness and implement strategies to accelerate deal closures.
    • Introduce how additional workloads could enable digital transformation.
  • Scaling and Collaboration

    • Work with Global Partner Solutions (GPS) and partners to cross-sell and up-sell new opportunities.
    • Develop joint proposals and partner strategies to address gaps in capabilities.
  • Technical Expertise

    • Lead discussions and mentor others within the organization.
    • Act as a subject-matter expert and collaborate with partners to analyze competitor offerings and formulate strategies.
  • Sales Excellence

    • Leverage customer insights and industry knowledge to optimize portfolios and support innovation.
    • Review customer feedback and implement recovery actions to enhance overall experience while steering sales and delivery success.
