In this role, you will act as a technical thought leader, collaborating with the Modern Work Digital Solution Area Specialist to accelerate technical execution of Microsoft's strategic business priorities. Your responsibility will be to sell best-in-class cloud services and platforms to our managed customers and to build digital transformation momentum for our customers, partners, and Microsoft.
This position encompasses a vast territory, covering key Microsoft customers across the most dynamic regions of the Middle East and Africa. The successful candidate will engage with a diverse range of clients and cultures, driving growth and innovation across this expansive region.
Requirements
- 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, OR
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience, OR
- Equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience developing and delivering customer demos/proofs of concept for productivity and collaboration-centric solutions across competitive offerings.
Additional Qualifications
- 8+ years technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery experience.
- Experience creating customer solutions, assessing business needs, and delivering AI Proof of Concepts (PoC)/Pilots that lead to production deployments.
- 6+ years experience in a large matrixed, global technology company.
- 3+ years experience in driving business transformation with AI.
- Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Microsoft 365, MS-900 Certification, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
- Proficiency in Arabic and English.
Responsibilities
- Engage with the Modern Work Digital Solution Area Specialist as a technical thought leader to accelerate technical execution across Modern Work products.
- Proactively identify and engage key customer technical decision makers and influencers across Modern Work products.
- Lead complex technical wins by mapping the agreed customer vision into strategy, resolving concerns, preventing technical blockers, and validating a strong business case for investment.
- Work with customers, account teams, and partners to orchestrate a roadmap for implementation.
- Drive technical assessments, create migration plans, and ensure alignment with customer technical needs.
- Design customer solutions using technical knowledge and architectural expertise.
- Support partner technical capacity by monitoring and analyzing resources, identifying new partnership opportunities.
- Document competitive knowledge and share insights within the technology specialist community.
- Provide insights to Corp, business and product groups, and be the Voice of the Customer in driving product improvements.
- Identify and support the creation of new pipeline opportunities within customer engagements.
