We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technology Specialist - Azure Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our team. As a Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their business requirements, and effectively demonstrating and positioning the value of Azure Data and AI solutions. You will play a crucial role in accelerating customers' adoption of Azure by demonstrating technical value and influencing business decision-makers.
In this role, you will provide technical guidance and expertise to customers during the evaluation and adoption of Azure data and AI technologies. Success will require collaboration with broader sales teams to develop and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept that showcase Azure’s capabilities.
To become a trusted advisor to our customers, a Technology Specialist must be passionate about staying up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Azure to communicate benefits effectively. Additionally, you will collaborate with product teams to provide feedback and insights on customer requirements, product enhancements, and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customer technical decision-makers and anticipate needs through data gathering
- Build credibility with customers using solution or portfolio expertise
- Ensure technical wins by driving discussions and improving customer interactions
- Collaborate with partners and internal resources to facilitate technical engagements
- Provide strategic input to influence competitive strategies based on customer insights
- Conduct demonstrations and proof of concept sessions using Microsoft products
- Expand awareness of sales methodologies and build personal readiness plans
- Monitor and respond to tech community engagements and act as a mentor
Qualifications
- Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 3+ years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience
- 5+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid/on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
- Deep understanding of Data & AI fundamentals
