About the Job: The Compliance Monitoring Technology Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of technological compliance monitoring and support across the Momentum Group (“Momentum”). Through establishing and monitoring key technology compliance metrics, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on technical matters, and ensuring that technology changes are compliant and aligned with business needs and external regulations, this role will contribute to embedding a culture of compliance and ethics in a technology-focused organization.
Responsibilities: - Lead Compliance Monitoring for all relevant technology-related activities across the organization as part of the Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP). - Conduct continual horizon scanning to monitor regulatory technology developments in the lottery and gaming industries, and facilitate the implementation of necessary updates to the compliance technology infrastructure. - Act as the conduit between the Technology teams and external bodies (e.g., Regulators and Test Labs) to support clear, concise, and consistent messaging regarding technical matters to relevant stakeholders. - Lead on the provision of assurance on technical matters to confirm Momentum’s level of compliance with both internally documented processes and external standards and regulations. - Work closely with Legal, Risk, and Technology Teams to support the integration of compliance requirements into lottery and igaming platforms. - Assist the Technology Team with all external technical regulatory and compliance walkthroughs/audits, ensuring timely responses and remediations surrounding audit findings. - Work with Change Managers to develop efficient governance over the end-to-end delivery of technology changes. - Provide consulting services to the Technology Team on all technical regulatory and compliance needs. - Design and monitor key Technology Compliance metrics to ensure timely escalation, reporting, and resolution of identified issues. - Contribute to and oversee the management of the relationship with the Regulator regarding Regulatory Technology matters and submissions.
Requirements: - Knowledge of gambling regulatory frameworks; experience working in a test lab or in jurisdictions where gambling technology is approved is a plus. - Strong knowledge of technology systems and software lifecycle. - A good understanding of the Information Technology industry, technology trends, and best practices. - Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical internal and external stakeholders. - Highly proficient in English (both written and spoken). - Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive a high-performance team culture. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance technology, IT risk management, security, or other related ICT roles, preferably within the lottery, gaming, or financial services sectors. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Risk Management, or other relevant fields. - Ideally possess a professional certification (CISA, CRCMi, CRISC, etc.).
