About the Job: The Cybersecurity Application and Cloud Architecture Advisor will be essential in developing and maintaining the Reference Security Architecture to safeguard NEOM’s digital assets, systems, and data. This role ensures that cybersecurity architecture aligns with business objectives, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and periodically review the Reference Security Architecture following the SABSA framework.
- Gather business requirements for cybersecurity solutions and convert them into security architecture design.
- Evaluate and recommend security vendors, technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance NEOM’s security posture.
- Ensure that cybersecurity solutions meet enterprise security architecture requirements.
- Support GRC to guarantee compliance with NCA and other regulatory requirements.
- Define baseline/benchmark/checklist for Cybersecurity Control Reviews.
- Collaborate with the CEA team to deliver high-quality services.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across and outside NEOM.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for cybersecurity, providing consultation on relevant technical issues.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity.
- Develop best practices for security controls and non-security controls.
- Create cybersecurity architecture standards to support NEOM RSA.
- Design and oversee the development and implementation of cybersecurity systems and networks.
- Perform cybersecurity reviews and identify gaps in security architecture to develop risk management plans.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Create best practice configuration standards based on industrial benchmarks (e.g., CIS benchmark).
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology, focusing on cybersecurity architecture.
- Expert knowledge in the SABSA Framework and design principles such as Zero Trust Architecture and Defense in Depth.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing large cybersecurity teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (mandatory).
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field (highly preferred).
