About the Job
As a Data & Insights Lead, you will support the delivery of NEOM Internal Audit’s (NIA) data analytics demand. Your primary responsibilities will involve the development of in-house data-led solutions to ensure audits are delivered on time and within budget. You will mentor and develop junior team members while managing co-source requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design data mapping for Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and controls to enable data analytics and continuous auditing.
  • Develop and design visualizations and dashboards for interpreting complex data analysis, facilitating risk-based auditing.
  • Coordinate data extraction with relevant IT and Data Custodians for structured and unstructured data.
  • Prepare Data Modelling with appropriate relationships among tables, alongside executing complex analytics queries.
  • Supervise team members during audits to provide on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback.
  • Facilitate workshops with NIA Management to achieve mutually agreed deliverables and timelines for data-led audits.
  • Monitor timelines, milestones, and quality of audit deliverables, ensuring compliance with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.

Background, Skills & Qualifications

  • 5 to 6 years of experience in Data Analytics.
  • Proven track record of delivering data analytics solutions using SQL, Cloudera, Python, Power BI (mandatory), and Tableau.
  • Experience developing dashboards with Power BI and Tableau.
  • Prior experience working with data schemas for SAP, Oracle Primavera, or Enablon is required.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, and statistical analysis methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently manage large projects.
  • Graduate or Master’s Degree in a relevant subject is preferred; additional certifications in Project Management or Data Analytics are a plus.
  • Commitment to ongoing education in auditing and technology is required.
