About the Job
The Manager, Data Analytics will be responsible for leading data analytics within the Group Strategy & Business Development department at Oxagon, a region of NEOM. This position involves developing and implementing data-driven strategies to support business decision-making, optimize business processes, and provide actionable insights across Oxagon. The role will leverage data analytics to enhance the Manufacturing Sector’s operations and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with NEOM’s vision and objectives.
Key Accountabilities & Activities
- Functional Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive data analytics strategy for the Group Strategy & Business Development function and other teams within Oxagon. Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data sets to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Analytics Techniques: Implement advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis, to optimize business processes and identify growth opportunities.
- People Management: Assist in identifying, recruiting, and developing resources that align with the Group Strategy & Business Development function’s mandate.
- Core Mandate: Utilize data analytics to provide insights and support decision-making processes within the Manufacturing Sector and other areas in Oxagon. Lead the development of data models, dashboards, and reports to support strategic initiatives and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Project Management & Execution: Lead key data analytics projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with NEOM’s strategic objectives and delivering results on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including NEOM departments, potential investors, and government entities, to support data analytics efforts.
Background, Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Extensive experience in data analytics, data science, or related fields, preferably in large organizations or consultancy environments.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of advanced analytics techniques, proficiency in creating data visualizations, and proven experience in data governance and management.
- Project Management: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with a focus on managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Leadership: Strong management capabilities to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Tools Proficiency: Proficiency in analytics tools such as Python, Tableau, PowerBI, and other relevant platforms.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
