About the Job
The Customer E2E Security Solutions Architect acts as a trusted advisor partnering with customers to identify and fulfill their needs. This role involves understanding and capturing critical inputs from stakeholders and translating them into effective requirements and solutions. The Architect specifies and designs end-to-end solutions, including customer-specific adaptations, utilizing the Nokia portfolio of products, systems, services, and third-party products as necessary. This position applies solution architecture standards, processes, and principles to maintain a solution's technical integrity over time.

In collaboration with a skilled team of technical designers, the Customer E2E Security Solutions Architect constructs network architecture, solutions designs, feature testing, and deployment procedures. The role requires direct interaction with customer engineering leads, providing essential technical consultation. The Architect operates within the Cloud and Network Services Business Group, supporting cross-functional and geographical projects aligned with business objectives and strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design: Architect end-to-end network solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices, considering factors like capacity planning, high availability, and quality of service (QoS).
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to project teams throughout the solution lifecycle while mentoring junior team members and facilitating technical workshops.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand client requirements, conducting thorough analysis of customer needs, network performance metrics, and market trends.
  • Solution Implementation: Oversee the integration of designed solutions into clients' networks, ensuring seamless deployment and adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor network performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and conduct analysis to improve efficiency.
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging security and core technologies, evaluating new hardware and software solutions, conducting proof-of-concept trials, and making technology adoption recommendations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical design documentation, including solution architectures and design specifications, along with generating progress reports and performance metrics.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in architecture, design, and integration in multi-vendor telecom environments, with a focus on security solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cyber Security design and architecture for various Nokia products, mission-critical networks, and Cloud Core solutions.
  • Expertise in 4G/5G protocols and standards, as well as experience in testing methodologies for large networks.
  • Strong communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge with peers.
  • Ability to work as part of a multicultural global team in different time zones, with fluency in English; Arabic is highly preferable.
