In this role, you will be a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for consulting with clients and collaborating with internal teams to create strategies, transformational designs, and architectural vision for complex solutions that address the clients' needs. You will be providing multi-technology consulting services on all aspects of application software, infrastructure, and related technology components.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, define and recommend solutions, services, and outcomes in line with cybersecurity domains across various industry sectors.
- Utilize your knowledge of security standards, laws, regulations, frameworks, and best practices to support security outcomes.
- Identify and develop security requirements, as well as functional and non-functional parameters.
- Define and manage demos and proof of concepts, and specify solutions for network security and infrastructure security.
- Support complex bid responses and partnership models, while managing detailed pricing models.
- Maintain vendor relationships to enhance understanding of the vendor’s products.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Act as the single point of contact for the sales team regarding new requirements in cybersecurity.
- Independently determine methods and procedures for new assignments.
- Comfortable leading security architecture discussions with clients regarding cybersecurity operations and incident response services.
- Broad understanding of various security solutions, services, and technologies, along with knowledge of 'Secure by Design' and 'Zero Trust' principles.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant and recognized professional security and security technology certifications.
Required Experience:
- Over 8 years in Cyber Security with at least 4 years focused on technical solutions and presales.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, including presenting technical topics to small to medium audiences.
- Familiarity with the UAE/Qatar markets and connections with cybersecurity vendors in the network security domain.
- Proficient technical knowledge of security technologies including Firewalls, WAF, SASE, SIEM, MDR, XDR, Threat Intelligence, SOAR, etc.
- Experience in preparing technical architecture blueprints and handling large-scale complex RFPs is highly desirable.
