As a SIEM Administrator, you will be a subject matter expert responsible for delivering enterprise-level IT support and maintenance within the organization by following guidelines and instructions.
In this role, you will engage in the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of company infrastructure and systems. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, system monitoring, support, and ensuring system availability. You will work closely with senior team members to resolve less complex issues while developing your skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain new hardware or software.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and system analysis for incident resolution.
- Conduct system administration tasks including configuration and systems monitoring.
- Validate new systems to meet functionality and quality requirements.
- Implement backup and recovery procedures.
- Monitor systems proactively by collecting performance metrics and logs.
- Perform hardware or software upgrades and patching.
- Execute standard changes, manage tickets for Incident Management, and document work results.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Entry-level knowledge of required infrastructure technology or software.
- Basic understanding of management tools and languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, SQL).
- Proficient troubleshooting skills and good technical understanding.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ITIL support processes.
- Ability to analyze information and solve problems under pressure.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field.
