About the Job
As an Oracle Account Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in helping enterprises transform with cutting-edge cloud technology. You will be a trusted advisor to key decision-makers, enabling organizations to navigate their digital transformation journey and significantly impacting their business success.
In this position, you will work closely with customers to guide them through their cloud adoption journey, collaborating with Oracle’s cloud teams to align solutions with customer needs and providing strategic guidance throughout the process. You will orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver effective cloud solutions that meet customer goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive customer success by building strong relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and fostering retention.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Oracle cloud solutions.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to gather detailed business and technical requirements.
- Architect comprehensive cloud solutions aligned with industry best practices.
- Present and demonstrate Oracle cloud solutions, showcasing their value to customers.
- Create and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and trends by working closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams.
- Provide technical guidance during the sales cycle, including proof of concept (POC) and pilot projects.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights to the sales team and customers.
- Design and deliver enterprise cloud architectures that articulate business value through vision, capability models, assessments, and technical architecture.
- Lead cross-functional teams to help customers design, implement, and govern enterprise cloud architecture and solutions on time.
Key Qualifications & Competencies
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in technology and industry, with experience working with public cloud platforms.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as Pre-Sales Solution Architect focusing on enterprise cloud solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications.
- Familiarity with cloud implementation and adoption cycles.
- Experience with open-source, cloud-native, and Oracle technologies.
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
