As an Oracle Account Cloud Engineer, you will be at the forefront of helping enterprises transform through cutting-edge cloud technology. You'll closely work with key decision-makers to guide customers through their cloud adoption journey, collaborating with various Oracle teams to ensure that solutions align with customer needs. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic guidance, orchestrating cross-functional teams, and delivering effective cloud solutions that meet customer goals.
Job Overview
In this role, you will:
- Drive customer success by acting as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Oracle cloud solutions.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to gather detailed business and technical requirements.
- Architect comprehensive cloud solutions that align with industry best practices.
- Present and demonstrate Oracle cloud solutions to customers, showcasing their value and benefits.
- Create and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies by working closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to deliver strategic insights to the sales team and customers.
- Lead cross-functional Oracle teams to design, implement, and govern enterprise cloud architecture and solutions on time.
Key Qualifications & Competencies
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in technology, with a focus on public cloud platforms.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as Pre-Sales Solution Architect, focusing on enterprise cloud solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications.
- Familiarity with cloud implementation and adoption cycles.
- Experience with open source, cloud-native, and Oracle technologies.
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
