As an Oracle Account Cloud Engineer, you will empower organizations on their digital transformation journey, making a direct impact on their business success. You will work closely with key decision-makers to guide our customers through their cloud adoption journey, collaborating across Oracle’s cloud teams to ensure our solutions align with customer needs, and providing strategic guidance at every step.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer success by acting as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Oracle cloud solutions.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions to gather detailed business and technical requirements.
  • Architect comprehensive cloud solutions that meet customer needs and align with industry best practices.
  • Present and demonstrate Oracle cloud solutions to customers, showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings.
  • Create and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation.
  • Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies by working closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams.
  • Provide technical guidance during the sales cycle, including proofs of concept (POCs) and pilot projects.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to deliver strategic insights to the sales team and customers.
  • Design and deliver enterprise cloud architecture that clearly articulates business value through vision, capability models, assessments, and technical architecture.
  • Lead cross-functional Oracle teams to help customers design, implement, and govern enterprise cloud architecture and solutions on time.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technology and industry, with experience working with public cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as Pre-Sales Solution Architect, focusing on enterprise cloud solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications.
  • Experience or strong familiarity with cloud implementation and adoption cycles.
  • Experience with open-source, cloud-native, and Oracle technologies.
