Cloud Engineer

About the Job
As a Cloud Engineer at Oracle, you will partner with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design, demonstrate, and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address various business problems. Your role will be crucial in driving Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services through discovery, design, and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with strategic customers and build leadership relationships at multiple organizational levels to design and implement tailored solutions.
• Work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures, and translate business needs into actionable solutions.
• Implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting.
• Provide customized presentations and demonstrations to customers, at conferences, and during events.
• Support customers from Proof of Concept (POC) through to production deployment via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training.
• Create and distribute technical assets such as white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations.
• Serve as a leading contributor for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and their success.
• Identify gaps and enhancements that can influence engineering roadmaps for customer-driven features.
• Mentor and provide direction to others, as work may be non-routine and complex, requiring advanced technical and business skills.
• Stay current on emerging technologies to maintain your expertise.

Requirements

• 6 to 10+ years of relevant experience in cloud engineering.
• Fluency in English—ability to read, write, and converse effectively.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud services and solutions.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
