About the Job
We are looking for a Cloud Solution Engineer who is passionate about driving customer success by acting as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. The successful candidate will collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Oracle cloud solutions. Responsibilities include conducting technical discovery sessions, architecting comprehensive cloud solutions that align with industry best practices, and presenting Oracle cloud offerings to customers to showcase their value and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive customer success and satisfaction through strong relationship-building
- Collaborate with sales to gather detailed business and technical requirements
- Architect cloud solutions that meet customer needs
- Present and demonstrate Oracle cloud solutions to prospective clients
- Create and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation
- Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and collaborate with Oracle product management and engineering teams
- Provide technical guidance during the sales cycle, including proofs of concept (POCs) and pilot projects
- Design and deliver enterprise cloud architecture that articulates business value
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement and govern enterprise cloud architecture
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in technology and industry, with significant experience working with public cloud platforms
- Proven track record as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role focusing on enterprise cloud solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic approach to business and technical challenges
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications
- Experience or strong familiarity with cloud implementation and adoption cycles
- Background in Open Source, Cloud Native, and Oracle technologies
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
