The Advanced Service Engineer (ASE) organization in CSS is a global, innovative, and diverse team of highly skilled technical engineers. We establish long-term trusted relationships with Oracle’s key customers, assisting them in maximizing their Oracle Cloud and on-premise investments, innovating faster, and accelerating their business success with solutions for all cloud environments and Artificial Intelligence solutions.
We are looking for a Lead Cloud Architect (LCA) with experience in Artificial Intelligence. The primary responsibilities include designing, building, and managing best-in-class solutions for our CSS customers by:
- Establishing trusted relationships with customers.
- Understanding Oracle Cloud and AI products and solutions.
- Assessing and analyzing customer needs to capture business and industry requirements and translating them into technical architectures aligned with Oracle’s best practices.
- Leading CSS’s delivery teams by providing technical governance and guidance.
- Applying extensive problem resolution skills to build relationships across various levels of the organization, up to CIO or equivalent business owners.
- Being the main contact for new business opportunities by supporting our CSS Services Solutioning team.
- Driving innovation by incubating new practices and solutions.
- Ensuring successful handover from implementation to operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years (5) of experience as a senior architect delivering cloud and AI solutions.
- Applicants are required to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical staff at all organizational levels.
- Customer-first attitude and a team player who strengthens their team.
- Technical leadership from sales to delivery for large and complex cloud and AI solutions.
- Positive, creative, agile, and innovative attitude toward design and delivery of solutions.
- Ability to analyze and document complex issues effectively.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle's cloud solutions (OCI, IaaS, PaaS, Networks).
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies and machine learning concepts.
- Familiarity with common AI use cases and AI services/technologies including NLP, Speech, Anomaly detection, and Generative AI.
- Good understanding of applications/SaaS, databases, and middleware/PaaS services.
- Knowledge of relevant open-source cloud technologies and cloud security.
- Experience with cloud-native design solutions and automation processes (DevOps, GitOps).
