This architecture role requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills. Strong all-round technical skills, the ability to engage with clients, build trusted relationships, and communicate effectively are essential. You will play a pivotal role in designing both large-scale strategic architectures and focused solution architectures to meet customers’ short-term and long-term needs. Your design solutions will address critical non-functional requirements such as security, network, performance, resilience, and service management.
As an Enterprise Technology Architect, you'll take responsibility for architecture from conception through to deployment. What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the sales team to deliver compelling customer presentations that illustrate architectural visions and articulate the benefits of your solutions.
- Drive Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of cloud services through discovery, design, and deployment.
- Engage with strategic customers, cultivating relationships at multiple levels to design and implement robust solutions.
- Work directly with customers to gather requirements and develop architectures, translating business needs into effective solutions.
- Create technical assets, including white papers, solution code, and video demonstrations.
- Serve as a leading contributor for customers and sales regarding technical cloud solutions and customer success.
- Identify gaps and enhancements to guide engineering roadmaps for customer-driven features.
What You’ll Bring:
- Relevant experience in the IT industry in a presales architect role.
- Leadership experience in large-scale transformation projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a goal-oriented attitude.
- Technical expertise, particularly in cloud technologies, data management, development, integration, and security.
- Understanding of existing on-premises customer systems and their mapping to cloud architectures.
- Ability to articulate Oracle Cloud and Data Management strategies tailored to customer contexts and industries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and French.
