This architecture role combines both technical and soft skills. We seek individuals with strong all-round technical skills, the ability to engage with people, build trusted relationships, communicate ideas, and achieve consensus. Your contribution will be pivotal in helping customers transition to Oracle cloud. You will engage with customers to understand their current deployments, designing large-scale strategic architectures along with focused solution architectures to address both short-term and long-term needs. Your ability to design solutions that meet non-functional requirements such as security, network, performance, resilience, and service management will ensure the best outcomes for our customers.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
- Deliver compelling customer presentations that illustrate the architectural vision and articulate the benefits of your solutions in conjunction with the sales team.
- Drive Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services, including discovery, design, and deployment.
- Engage with strategic customers to build leadership relationships and design implementable solutions.
- Work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures, and translate business needs into solutions.
- Create and distribute technical assets including white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations.
- Serve as a leading contributor on technical cloud solutions and customer success.
- Identify gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer-driven features.
You can look forward to being an active participant in the Architecture Community within Oracle, contributing to reference architectures, and continually developing your technical and soft skills through Oracle's training programs.
Requirements
Your enthusiasm, knowledge, and passion for customer success will help us become the number one cloud company in the world. Architectural skills and experience are important, including:
- Relevant IT industry experience in a presales architect role
- Experience in leading large-scale transformation projects
- Ability to translate complex customer needs into workable solutions
- Strong technical background in cloud, data management, development, integration, and security
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and hybrid on-premise/cloud designs
- Excellent communication skills with technical stakeholders and C-level executives
- Fluency in English and French
