About the Job
As an Oracle HCM Financial Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for capturing, analyzing, and estimating customer business requirements and translating them into Oracle HCM/Oracle Cloud HCM solution architecture that aligns with the customer’s business environment and objectives. You will lead complex functional/process analysis and facilitate workshops with senior customer resources and subject matter experts. Your role will involve capturing and understanding client requirements and specifying system, application, or process designs. You will also engage in the bid process by mapping client requirements to the base product functionality to present a product fit.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formal workshops with clients to gather requirements, showcasing knowledge of the business environment.
  • Lead complex functional analysis and review the solution overview, functional designs, technical designs, and configuration within the project.
  • Liaise with business analysts for requirements, management for estimations, and teams for solution implementation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of the overall architecture of Oracle HCM and/or Oracle Cloud HCM.
  • Support testing, defects analysis, and fixing in sync with product development and support.
  • Produce custom reports, exports, and modifications to meet customer needs.
  • Facilitate design workshops and manage functional scope to mitigate business and technical risks.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience related to this position, including 2 years of consulting experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus.
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Experience with software architecture, solution design, and estimation processes.
  • Viewed as a trusted adviser by customers and able to manage implementations effectively.
