Position

The OTM Functional Consultant will report to the Logistics Centre of Excellence Practice Director and work as part of the EMEA Oracle Consulting Team. The role involves collaborating across Oracle lines of business to assist with delivery, pre-sales, and education. This position includes working closely with EMEA country organizations, engaging with clients on-site as required, and achieving utilization/cost recovery targets.

Location
Various locations in Europe, including London, United Kingdom; Vienna, Austria; and Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with requirement definitions
  • Implementing Oracle Transportation Management according to agreed proposals
  • Contributing to solution design, including prototype configuration, documentation, and testing
  • Balancing client demands while protecting Oracle's commercial interests
  • Collaborating with partners and other third-party organizations as necessary
  • Developing and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services
  • Providing training and knowledge transfer of application configuration details
  • Acting as an expert in the specialist practice area

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, including implementation of Oracle Transportation Management
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Product or technical expertise relevant to the practice focus
  • Effective communication skills and ability to build rapport with team members and clients
  • Ability to operate independently and make informed judgments during engagements
