As a Solutions Engineer, you will act as a technical advocate for our customers, collaborating closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Support teams. Your primary goal is to ensure customer success by designing and implementing fit-for-purpose solutions, maximizing business value, and creating efficient adoption roadmaps. You will stay updated on a broad range of Internet performance and security technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical advocate for customers, ensuring their success.
- Collaborate with various teams to design and implement solutions.
- Stay informed about Internet performance and security technologies.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- 3-10 years of experience in the IT industry (early or mid-level).
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written & spoken).
- Project management experience with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Strong empathy for customers, understanding their challenges and pain points.
- Fundamental understanding of Internet functioning, including TCP and UDP, authoritative vs. recursive DNS, role of firewalls and TLS (SSL), and HTTP intricacies.
- Insights into customer buying decisions and ROI explanations.
- Knowledge of competitive landscape related to DDoS, CDN, Performance, DNS, or Zero-Trust services.
- Willingness to travel (10-15 days per quarter) for customer meetings or conferences.
- Previous experience in a pre-sales or consulting role (not limited to tech).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Bash).
- Interest in emerging trends in Security, such as Zero Trust.
