About the Job:
The Customer Excellence Advisory Lead (CEAL) at Oracle aims to enable customers to fully leverage their data by offering top-tier architectural guidance and design. As part of the Oracle Analytics Service Excellence organization, the team includes Solution Architects specializing in Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Analytics Server, Big Data Services, and Fusion Data Intelligence. The primary goal is the successful adoption of Oracle Analytics through engaging with customers and partners globally, building trust in Oracle Analytics. This involves collaborating with Product Management to enhance product offerings and sharing insights through blogs, webinars, and demonstrations.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively recognize customer requirements, uncover unaddressed needs, and develop potential solutions for various customer groups.
- Review and support big data infrastructures, ensuring designs for big data architectures align with strategic business goals and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and prepare for complex product or solution-related inquiries from customers.
- Promote understanding of customer complexities and articulate the value propositions of various programs to key internal stakeholders.
Primary Skills Required:
- Experience with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Big Data Service (BDS), as well as Big Data Appliance (BDA).
- Proficiency in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL.
- Strong programming and scripting skills, with experience in languages like Python and Java.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient complex data architectures.
- Experience in managing and optimizing large-scale databases.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts to design and optimize data transmission networks, and troubleshoot network-related issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest big data technologies and trends.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with multiple cloud platforms.
- Certification in Big Data or a related field.
