Oracle Financial Services Global Business Unit (FSGBU) is a world leader in providing IT solutions to the financial services industry. With a customer base that includes ten of the top global banks and insurance companies, and over 840 financial institutions across 130 countries, FSGBU understands the challenges financial institutions face. The current vacancy is for a seasoned banking software application sales professional tasked with positioning and selling software licenses for Oracle’s core banking, digital banking, payments, and mid-office solutions across retail and corporate banking, including the Microfinance and Financial Inclusion segments.
Responsibilities
- Achieve revenue targets for licenses across various specified banking solutions, selling to both existing customers and new logos.
- Strategically engage customers to build key relationships and lay the foundation for license purchases.
- Position the portfolio at the “C” level in business, IT, and operational discussions.
- Develop deep and active engagement models with clients.
- Create tailored case for transformation and supporting business case proposals for each opportunity.
- Manage sales lead generation and pipeline using Oracle Sales Cloud (Fusion) CRM platform, providing regular updates.
- Forecast accurately and execute deal closures in a structured and transparent manner.
- Collaborate with Oracle Line of Business stakeholders and various FSBGU teams.
- Work with existing partners and identify new strategic alliances to grow license revenue and expand the customer footprint.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in core & digital banking applications such as Finacle, T24, Midas, or similar vendor applications.
- Proven experience in shaping and developing investment initiatives/projects of $US 2M and upwards, including business case development.
- Deep knowledge of the banking industry within the defined territory.
- Strong sales and business development skills, with a history of managing sales cycles for strategic opportunities (solution selling).
- Established relationships with CXOs at key local banks are essential.
- Knowledge of finance fundamentals, accounting, and back-office operations.
- Ability to analyze emerging trends in banks’ buying patterns, specifically in enterprise risk management and compliance systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner management experience is beneficial.
- Proven problem-solving skills, including needs analysis and business justification.
- Willingness to travel locally.
