About the Job: The Database Administration Engineer is primarily responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing the company's database systems, specifically Oracle and PostgreSQL, throughout the full portfolio. Key responsibilities include overseeing database architecture, performance tuning, capacity planning, and implementing high availability and disaster recovery strategies. The DBA will also handle advanced troubleshooting, monitor critical database events, and ensure thorough documentation is maintained. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions that align with the company’s business and IT objectives.
