Position

Oracle is seeking a Senior Manager for the Data Center Security Operations team, which serves as the primary interface with all clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met through high-quality, industry-standard programs and services. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and developing teams, products, and services within the Global Physical Security (GPS) operations line of business. Your expertise should focus on data center operational security, guard force management, crisis management programs, risk assessments, incident response, and investigations.

You will report directly to the Director of Global Data Center Security Operations based in the USA and this position encompasses the Middle East and Southern Africa. Periodic regional and global travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regional operational direction and oversight for GPS strategic initiatives related to data center operational security.
  • Manage security guard forces at both internal and external data center locations.
  • Collaborate with Oracle Lines of Business and external audit regulatory bodies for physical security compliance.
  • Oversee incident response and crisis management.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service regarding all aspects of Physical Security as it applies to data center security.
  • Maintain industry-standard physical security best practices and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and manage the regional data center security operations program budget.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of GPS Global Data Center Security Operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of industrial security experience, with at least 7 years in senior management and leadership roles, preferably in a physical security/data center environment.
  • Strong understanding of industry-specific legislation and compliance related to physical security operations.
  • Experience in crisis management at the corporate level.
  • Familiarity with security technology resources such as access control and CCTV systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is essential.
