Chief Enterprise Architect

Role Responsibilities:

• The Chief Architect will be the technical design authority for software and infrastructure architecture services for project delivery streams across a complex technology transformation program. They will need to demonstrate full system lifecycle ability to solve problems and meet business needs. Working with in-house and third-party design teams, the role holder will serve as a central point of contact for overall architecture across the project.
• To manage the scope and value of the Orange engineering solution, ensuring the optimal value of the engineering is achieved through the effective management and delivery of system-level artifacts, progress, issues, risks, and opportunities. He/she will carry out duties under the guidance of the Project Director and Steering Committee. To be able to identify gaps and shape a comprehensive, end-to-end digital blueprint and technology roadmap for multiple vertical projects. Develop High Level and Low-Level Solution Architecture together with Solution Architects and oversight detailed Solution Architecture Design documents and provide technical guidance to the team and vendors involved.
• Able to bring extensive knowledge of architectural patterns, technology components, vendor solutions, and emerging technology trends in digital solution development in the data center domain. Expertise in architecting digital and multi-channel technology solutions, covering all layers of the technology stack, from presentation through to physical infrastructure. Oversees implementation of architecture system and advises adjustments to PMO. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Also, providing a deep understanding of business capabilities and functions, processes and information, and related issues across the client organization.
• The role holder will ensure that all technical issues and risks are managed. Drive the technical implementation and validate that deliverables are meeting the client’s functional and technical requirements. Provide rapid and economical pre-evaluations and estimates for business ideas and change management. They must lead in the approval, decision-making, and planning of the most appropriate technical solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT-related field
• More than 10 years experience in an architectural role.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect in the smart city domain, including HVAC controllers, Equipment management, Parking, Lift, Access management, CCTV, Asset Management, GIS, Facility Management/Operations
• Strong background in building management systems, IoT, and related protocols like BACnet, LoraWAN, NB-IoT, Haystack tagging, MQTT, REST API,
• Deep knowledge of Smart City platforms like Niagara, FIN Framework, or similar
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• Experience in building data models using market standards like Smart Data Model, NGSI-LD, or others.
• Experience with diverse infrastructure technologies, including cloud platforms, edge computing, and Big Data.
• Hands-on experience in integration platforms, SOA, ESBs, API Gateways, Data Streaming platforms and system orchestration
