We are seeking a detail-oriented IT and Security Architect with expertise in designing and implementing security architectures. This role requires ensuring the integration of security measures and compliance with international standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging advanced analytics tools. This position is on-site in Abu Dhabi, full-time.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement IT and Security architectures for the migration process.
- Ensure integration of security measures in the new environment.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Coordinate with international offices to ensure consistent security standards.
- Assess current security architecture and identify gaps for secure data transfer and storage.
- Ensure compliance with international security standards and regulations.
- Implement robust encryption and access controls.
- Address offshore and international security considerations, ensuring secure communication channels and consistent security policies.
- Regularly review and update security measures to address local threats and comply with organizational policies and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in information security, focusing on security architecture.
- Proven skills in designing and implementing security architectures.
- Knowledge of firewall concepts, identity and access management, cryptography, and secure system development.
- Hands-on experience with relevant technologies is advantageous.
- Experience in disaster recovery procedures and security incident management.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
