About the Job
The Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our computer systems, networks, and data. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, threat intelligence, and best practices in safeguarding digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and data.
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization’s infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
  • Conduct security awareness training for employees and stakeholders.
  • Respond to and investigate security breaches and incidents, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk assessments to identify potential threats.
  • Deploy and maintain security systems including Privileged Access Management (PAM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Email Gateways, and Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions.
  • Manage Microsoft Azure security solutions and advanced threat protection features in M365 environments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in reverse engineering, digital forensics, and data analysis, including decoding and decrypting proprietary/unknown data elements.
  • Cryptography experience with a solid understanding of popular encryption schemes, classification of schemes, and attack vectors.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a cybersecurity or security engineering role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, and CEH are preferred.
  • Solid understanding of network and security protocols, encryption methods, and security assessment tools.
  • Experience in Vulnerability Management and Patch Management solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
