About the Job
Presight AI, the region’s leading big data analytics company powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), is seeking a Full Stack Engineer. In this role, you will work within the development team to build an annotation platform for a Big Data analytic system. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Software Engineers to research, design, implement, and improve functionalities of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, refactor, and scale the next-generation data analytics platform, providing data management, ETL pipelines, ML model integrations, and rich visualizations.
- Prototype new ideas and components, transforming existing proof-of-concept components into production-grade systems.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and take ownership of specific functional areas.
- Increase and maintain test coverage and participate in architecture discussion meetings.
- Maintain documentation and provide a clean trail of activity through source control and issue tracking.
Qualifications
To qualify, applicants should have:
- A strong background in computer science with excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- 4-8 years of experience in building single-page applications (SPA) using React and backend systems in Java.
- Familiarity with web fundamentals, protocols, and modern web standards.
- Proficiency in modern React (including composition patterns and hooks) and complex state management (Redux/Mobx).
- Solid foundation in web technologies (HTML, DOM, CSS); experience with Tailwind is a plus.
- Strong Java platform knowledge; certifications such as JSCP or Oracle professional Java SE11 are a plus.
- Experience with core Spring components (Security, Data/JPA, Web) and low-level JDBC.
- Skills in building durable, long-running processing pipelines and task orchestration.
- Proficiency in SQL; experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka, S3) is advantageous.
- Experience in integrating ML models into custom data pipelines and familiarity with container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes/MLOps) are also beneficial.
