As the Lead Frontend Engineer, you will lead a talented team of frontend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences for our products. This role combines your technical expertise with leadership skills to shape the vision, strategy, and execution of our frontend solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend engineering, to deliver scalable, maintainable, and performance-driven user interfaces.

Responsibilities
- Direct product development from Frontend side: define user experience and get buy-in from stakeholders.
- Create frontend component libraries and promote them within the company.
- Conduct code reviews and define implementation tasks for the team.
- Participate in use case definitions with the product team and customers; produce design mockups for the team.
- Be responsible for the release process of frontend applications.
- Manage a small team of 2-3 frontend developers.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Overall experience developing frontend applications: at least 8 years.
- Strong experience with frontend framework - React, at least 5 years.
- Excellent knowledge of server-side framework - Node.js, at least 2-3 years.
- Contributing to open-source projects: engaging in code, producing pull requests, fixing bugs.
- Experience with state management packages, such as Mobx or Redux.
- Strong CSS skills, including knowledge of TailwindCSS.
- Understanding and some experience with network graph visualization libraries like Sigma.js or Cytoscape.
- Experience with chart libraries.
- Experience with Elasticsearch queries is preferable and a plus.
- Understanding of various image, audio, and video file types (manipulation, transcoding).
- Experience with build pipelines on GitHub and GitLab.
