About the Job:
Presight, an ADX-listed public company and a leading big data analytics firm powered by GenAI, is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Azure Engineer. This position entails managing and optimizing Azure resources, implementing governance policies, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage advanced analytics tools to drive insight-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize Azure resources for efficient and cost-effective cloud operations.
- Implement and maintain Azure governance policies, including resource tagging, cost allocation, and budget management.
- Monitor and analyze Azure usage and spending while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop automation scripts to streamline cloud management tasks.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements within the Azure environment.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize cloud infrastructure and application performance.
- Provide guidance on Azure best practices and cost optimization strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of Azure resources to ensure optimal configuration and usage.
Migration and Digital Transformation Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the migration of on-premises systems to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure during and after migration for cost savings and performance improvements.
- Implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, and cost management during digital transformation projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategies with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure, including cost management and optimization.
Skills Required:
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, architecture, and best practices.
- Proficiency in cost management tools and techniques, including Azure Cost Management and Billing.
- Experience with automation tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is preferred.
