The Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team, part of the Deals Strategy & Operations business unit, is expanding. This fast-growing practice focuses on supporting clients throughout potential and actual transactions, covering all operational integration aspects before and after completion. Responsibilities include operational and IT due diligence, synergy development, turnaround strategies, and post-acquisition performance improvement.

Role Responsibilities
As a Deals Manager specializing in Technology, you will work as part of a collaborative team to tackle complex business issues from strategy to execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading IT due diligence and producing red flag reports on IT strategy, infrastructure, architecture, and financials.
  • Overseeing DDV teams in carve-out and integration assessments focused on IT planning.
  • Reviewing current IT operating models and proposing new models.
  • Supporting technology project management offices (PMO) during deals.
  • Identifying IT synergies, risks, and issues related to integration planning and timelines.
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of Information Technology as a function.
  • Developing detailed analytical reports and supporting senior leadership in business development by drafting proposals.
  • Collaborating with team members to deliver thorough and well-structured reports.
  • Researching and analyzing data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to clients.

Requirements

  • Significant relevant experience in M&A, IT technology, or consulting, preferably within the IT department of a large organization.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Office 365 or Google Suite.
  • Proven track record in leading IT transformation projects, especially during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong knowledge of day one readiness in post-merger integrations and IT due diligence.
  • Ability to meet objectives within budget and timelines.
  • Exposure to business development opportunities and a strong desire to succeed through collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey messages effectively.
  • A strong analytical background with an understanding of key business drivers.
  • Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Arabic is considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 40%-60% of the time.
