We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager to lead our Accounting Advisory team in Riyadh. This critical leadership position requires a minimum of 10 to 13 years of experience in finance and accounting consulting, particularly in the power and utilities sector. The successful candidate will play a vital role in expanding and succeeding in the Accounting Advisory practice, contributing to impactful project development and execution.

Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager within a rapidly growing part of the Accounting Advisory team, you will be integral to building a long-term vision and strategy focused on the power and utilities sector. You will develop our Accounting Advisory and Structuring offering in the Middle East market, set budget goals, and lead business development activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing client relationships and overseeing project budgets, finance management, coaching, and resource management across a portfolio of clients.
  • Creating and delivering complex client deliverables, including executive-level reporting and detailed documentation.
  • Developing your expertise in the Accounting Advisory and Structuring offering, helping to shape client thinking and market success.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members.

Additionally, you will design transaction structures for complex transactions, including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and financial instrument design, while providing high-value and technically robust solutions.

Skills and Competencies

  • Experience in the power and utilities sector is required, along with a deep understanding of accounting complexities, including revenue models.
  • Proficiency in IFRS and general accounting principles.
  • Proven track record in business development and a business development mindset focused on winning work and building pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business studies, accounting, or finance.
  • CA, ACCA, CPA, or another accounting qualification recognized by an IFAC member organization.
  • 10+ years of audit or relevant experience in a Big 4 firm.

Fluency in English and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. The role may require travel within the Middle East and globally as projects dictate.
