As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the customer experience by leading the design process from discovery to delivery. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Data Scientists, and others to define and solve both customer and business problems.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer and business challenges.
- Define key project metrics and take ownership of their success.
- Research and introduce new findings to help achieve complex company goals, such as launching new features or entering new markets.
- Design elegant solutions to problems, from wireframing to creating end-to-end flows and prototypes.
- Facilitate guerrilla and customer testing workshops.
- Implement design solutions with the Technical team and present during design reviews.
- Review release performance, identify learnings, and enhance future designs.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in designing complex commercial applications.
- A portfolio showcasing your product design work.
- Strong design skills across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
- Ability to think strategically about product design and articulate your design decisions.
- Understanding of the technical implications of design choices.
- Self-directed, with ownership of the design process.
- High focus on user experience and understanding of human behavior.
- Strong skills in typography and grids, with a clean visual design sense.
- A passion for problem-solving.
Nice to Haves:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Programming experience and the ability to code simple prototypes.
- Experience with designing and maintaining cross-platform design systems.
- Familiarity with fast-paced startup environments.
